Premium paint booth

The top-of-the-range automotive paint booths

Our Fercabin Premium model stands out for its combination of innovation, efficiency and performance, and is designed for professionals who demand maximum control throughout the entire painting and drying process. Thanks to its advanced technologies, it delivers high-quality finishes with optimised energy consumption.

One of its main advantages is its rapid payback: although the initial investment is slightly higher, its energy-saving capacity —up to 50% compared to conventional booths— significantly reduces operating costs in the medium term.

Each system has been designed to improve performance: the Start&StandBy mode, together with frequency converters, adjusts fan operation according to actual usage, whilst intelligent pressure control maintains stable conditions inside, reducing consumption.

During the drying phase, the air recirculation system prevents the unnecessary heating of air, achieving savings of up to 70%, whilst the air duct technology improves heat distribution to ensure a constant and uniform temperature. Lighting has also been optimised using electronically controlled LED systems, which reduce energy consumption by up to 55% and extend the service life of the tubes.

The premium paint booth features a fully glazed front with three doors and incorporates a floating touchscreen panel from which all process parameters are controlled, with the option of an online connection for remote diagnostics and a connection for remote control of the machine from any Android device.

Key aspects

Our Premium model brings together all the latest technological advancements focused on performance and cost savings; a small increase in the initial cost will shorten the payback period for your cabin, delivering savings of 50% compared to a conventional cabin. These savings are achieved by combining a range of innovations across all areas, including air circulation, temperature control, lighting and software.

Extra modules

The Automotive cab model allows for the addition of optional modules, which make it easier to carry out tasks more efficiently, comfortably and safely.

Customizable options

Floors

This configuration requires a pre-construction pit 31,5 in deep and an air outlet duct to the outside; if the cabin is fitted with a recirculation system, a second duct must be provided for this purpose.

Fercabin will provide the construction drawings.

Emparrillado central

This configuration requires civil engineering works to a depth of 10,62 in, in accordance with the plans provided by Fercabin.

Possible configurations:

  • Full grating: The pit is completely covered with grating; air is channelled to the centre, although the entire area is covered with a paint-stop filter.
  • Mixed grating: The sides, where the painter works, are covered with ribbed sheet metal, and the centre features a central extraction system directed at the vehicle.

Emparrillado total sobre foso

This civil engineering-free configuration increases the cabin height by 10,62 in from ground level and offers two possible sub-configurations.

As for the ramp, it can be either a rolling ramp (standard) or a full ramp.

As for the interior flooring, it can be either full or mixed (standard).

Emparrillado elevado con rampa exterior

This option requires no building work whatsoever; the ramp is integrated into the interior of the cabin, ensuring it takes up no more space than is strictly necessary and even offering an advantage when painting bumpers.

As for the interior flooring, it can be either Full or Mixed (standard).

Possible configurations:

The most advanced version in terms of grating, offering all the advantages and none of the drawbacks, this version is fitted with pneumatic actuators that ensure the ramp is lowered to a horizontal position once the vehicle has been driven into the enclosure.

As for the interior flooring, it can be either Full or Mixed (standard).

Possible configurations:

  • Full grating: The pit is completely covered with grating, except for the ramps; air is channelled towards the centre, although the entire area is covered with a paint-stop filter.
  • Mixed grating: The sides, where the painter works, are covered with ribbed sheet metal, and the centre features a central extraction system directed at the vehicle.

Propulsion units

Recognising the importance of space, this option minimises the footprint of the booth by positioning the blower unit at the top of the paint booth.

Grupo de impulsión superior

The recirculation system has been designed with the energy efficiency of our products in mind. This enables us to save time and fuel, resulting in cost savings of around 30% compared to the same equipment without this feature.

This system consists of a set of pneumatic dampers that operate in synchronisation to reuse the heat generated inside the cabin, solely during the drying phase. It is important that this system is pneumatic, as electric actuators are unable to provide sufficient force to ensure a complete seal between work phases.

Flow rates:

  • 2,19685e+9 – 2,44095e+9 in³/h
  • 2,68504e+9 – 2,92914e+9 in³/h

Designed with simplicity in mind, this equipment is positioned on the side of the paint booth at ground level, allowing direct and convenient access to all components.

Designed with simplicity in mind, this equipment is positioned on the side of the paint booth at ground level, allowing direct and convenient access to all components.

The recirculation system has been designed to optimise the energy efficiency of our equipment, directly benefiting the end user. Thanks to this system, there is a significant reduction in process times and fuel consumption, which can result in cost savings of up to 30% compared to equivalent equipment without this feature.

The system incorporates a set of pneumatic dampers that operate in a coordinated manner, allowing the heat accumulated inside the booth to be reused exclusively during the drying phase. Pneumatic actuation is essential, as electric actuators do not provide the necessary force to ensure a completely airtight seal between the different work phases.

Burners

One of the most innovative solutions, with installed capacity tailored to specific requirements.

They are used to heat large volumes of air for use in drying processes, but can only operate within an air stream of a certain velocity.

The combustion gases are mixed with the air to be heated, thereby achieving 100% performance.

This type of equipment features modular flame adjustment from 0 to 100%, allowing for precise temperature control with minimal fluctuations.

Quemador vena de aire

These burners stand out for their versatility and are available in a range of power ratings, from 60 to 260 kW.

Their stable operation and high thermal capacity ensure optimum performance during the drying process, allowing them to be used with a wide variety of products and finishes without any loss of efficiency.

Quemador de gasoil

Gas burners, with outputs ranging from 35 to 280 kW, offer an alternative to diesel burners in locations where gas is available as an energy source.

These burners also provide the oven chamber with sufficient power to ensure rapid and uniform drying of any product placed inside, regardless of its composition.

Extraction units

Air purifiers are the only option when it comes to eliminating odours caused by the application of paints, varnishes or lacquers. These extraction units must be matched to the supply unit and remove air whilst cleaning it in three stages:

The first stage, in which primary filters remove the largest particles; the second stage, where up to 98% of the remaining airborne particles are removed; and the final stage, where odours are trapped. In this way, the booth can operate in a closed-loop system, renewing only a small percentage of the air, or discharge the air to the outside free of particles and with a significant reduction in odours.

Flow rates:

  • 2,19685e+9 – 2,44095e+9 in³/h
  • 2,68504e+9 – 2,92914e+9 in³/h

Depuradora de aire

These groups correspond to the supply air groups; in this way, we achieve optimal cabin pressurisation, which can be regulated either automatically or manually via a manual damper that we adjust based on the readings displayed on a differential pressure gauge, which is always included with this option.

Flow rates:

  • 2,19685e+9 – 2,44095e+9 in³/h
  • 2,68504e+9 – 2,92914e+9 in³/h
