Preparation areas are essential parts of any bodywork or paint shop. They are designed to carry out pre-painting tasks on the vehicle, such as sanding, applying primers and undercoats, or cleaning, in a space fitted out to maintain cleanliness and prevent contamination of the process.
This equipment features advanced configurations that allow us to carry out basic tasks such as finishing parts like wings, bumpers, etc., or touch-ups easily, with proper application and drying using radiant panels that help eliminate bottlenecks in the booth.
At Fercabin, we offer solutions tailored to every need, with ground-level or elevated preparation areas, which incorporate extraction systems to remove airborne dust and improve the quality of the work. Some versions also include a plenum with air recirculation, allowing for rapid applications under controlled conditions. Thanks to their modular design, optimised lighting and high-efficiency components, these areas improve workflow and ensure a cleaner, safer and more professional environment.
The Huracán preparation area is a model that offers a dual solution to optimise work in your workshop. On the one hand, it provides an efficient sanding area, designed to effectively capture the dust generated during preparation and sanding prior to painting.
On the other hand, it creates an air-flow-isolated space which, thanks to the plenum recirculation system, allows for quick painting jobs—such as individual parts, doors, wings or bumpers—as well as the application of primers or undercoats, under optimal conditions.
This model stands out from the cyclone model in that, thanks to its dual filtration system, it guarantees cleaner air that is better suited to high-quality paintwork.
The Huracán is available in several models depending on the power of the extraction unit and its airflow capacity, some of the standard models being: Huracán 4, Huracán 5.5 and Huracán 7.5. Furthermore, this model is available with a flush floor or a raised floor.
