Carballo C booth

A flawless finish and intense, professional-grade shine: superior quality with every application

The Carballo C finishing booth is designed to meet the demands of professional varnishing and lacquering in sectors such as furniture, wood, metal and specialist finishing work. Its design allows it to be adapted to each customer’s operating conditions, providing a controlled and efficient environment that facilitates the achievement of high-quality finishes.

Thanks to its constant and balanced air renewal system, the Carballo booth guarantees a safe working space, free from dangerous accumulations of chemicals and with a uniform air flow throughout the application area. This stability contributes to a more precise application of lacquers and varnishes, reducing imperfections and enhancing the quality of the final result.

Our catalogue features two completely different configurations, each with an approach that determines the working method.

• Sequential: this product sheet
• Cyclic: Carballo Booth

Cabina Carballo C

Carballo C finishing booth: precision, performance and high-quality results for professional use.

Carballo C booths are designed for users who carry out work at a more moderate frequency and who have a single operator responsible for the application. These booths are suitable for environments where continuous production is not required, but where it is necessary to maintain an orderly and efficient workflow. Within them, it is possible to carry out the usual stages of the process – painting and drying – sequentially, allowing the operator to control the entire procedure without the need for additional staff.

The process begins with the application of the product onto the parts, taking advantage of the fact that the entire surface of the booth benefits from adequate air renewal. This feature ensures that the working area is uniform and suitable for carrying out the application correctly. Once this stage is complete, the parts begin to dry in a consecutive and fully automatic cycle, whilst the operator prepares the next application job. This sequential operation optimises time and maintains a constant work rate in line with the specific requirements of this type of production.

Key aspects

The double-circuit stainless steel boiler system allows 30% more of the generated heat to be utilised, preventing unnecessary heat loss and speeding up the stabilisation of the temperature inside the chamber. This feature is key to achieving more precise control of the curing process for high-gloss varnishes and lacquers.

During the drying process, the system activates a recirculation system that reuses up to 80% of the preheated air. This approach reduces fuel consumption, improves thermal response time and optimises the entire work cycle without compromising the quality of the finish.

High-performance LEDs offering superior light output and colour rendering. LED lighting provides outstanding illumination coverage as well as optimal colour rendering. With the new LED systems, we also achieve significant energy savings compared to previous fluorescent installations.

Featuring premium efficiency, an optimised design and high-quality materials, it significantly reduces energy loss during operation. This helps to lower operating costs throughout the equipment’s service life.

IE3 electric motors with soft-start functionality ensure controlled acceleration, preventing power consumption spikes and reducing wear on mechanical components, in compliance with European energy efficiency regulations.

  • Longer service life of equipment
  • Cost savings through reduced switching cycles
  • Lower energy costs and reduced heating of the electrical cabinet
  • Prevention of current surges and voltage drops
  • Reduced interference emissions and fewer voltage fluctuations in the mains supply (flicker)
  • Lower operational losses

Products such as polyurethane are very heavy, and during application, some of the material is not drawn into the extraction curtain due to its high density. This is why these sumps are installed; they are designed to act as product settling tanks. High-flow application booths are designed with the highest possible air velocity without affecting the spray pattern of the gun; this is why certain products, such as polyurethanes, produce a residue that settles on the floor. This configuration requires civil engineering work to be carried out prior to the installation of the paint booth.

Without a settling tank, this configuration is ideal for use with trolleys and light-weight, low-residue varnishes.

Air intakes

It ensures that items placed on trestle-type stands or similar supports dry evenly from top to bottom.

It ensures optimal drying for trolleys loaded at different heights and a laminar airflow that guarantees a consistent temperature throughout the drying zone.

Drying systems

One of the most innovative solutions, with installed capacity tailored to specific requirements.

They are used to heat large volumes of air for use in drying processes, but can only operate within an air stream of a certain velocity.

The combustion gases are mixed with the air to be heated, thereby achieving 100% performance.

Quemador vena de aire

These burners stand out for their versatility and are available in a range of power ratings, from 60 to 260 kW.

Their stable operation and high thermal capacity ensure optimum performance during the drying process, allowing them to be used with a wide variety of products and finishes without any loss of efficiency.
Quemador de gasoil

Gas burners, with outputs ranging from 35 to 280 kW, offer an alternative to diesel burners in locations where gas is available as an energy source.

These burners also provide the oven chamber with sufficient power to ensure rapid and uniform drying of any product placed inside, regardless of its composition.

Quemador de gas

Water-to-air heat exchangers are used to heat air using water from various heating systems.

The heat exchanger uses an external heat source to raise the air temperature using hot water. This water circulates through the manifold and is distributed via copper pipes. The air then passes through the pipes and heated fins, absorbing the thermal energy. Once heated, the air is blown into the relevant area. When the water cools down, it is directed through the return manifold back to the heat source.

The unit stands out for its versatility, safety and easy installation.

This system also allows for dual functionality: depending on the temperature of the supplied fluid, it can lower the air temperature in environments where this is required.

Batería de agua caliente

We can regulate the air temperature using electric heating elements, which ensure a uniform and stable increase in temperature. This option allows us to adjust the power output according to the installation, demand and available power.

Air humidification systems

These energy-efficient systems increase relative humidity whilst reducing the ambient temperature by 4–5°C. They create a more comfortable working environment and ensure proper product curing in very hot working conditions.
